Terrible design

I really regret having picked this model ! The configuration makes absolutely no sense . It would work, perhaps, if the user were 4 ft tall. In order to see efficiently you practically have to get on your knees. I am not a particularly tall person ( 5™€™6™€) . The one shelf that should be for taller items is blocked in the center with the control piece so one can only put a few thing on either side. The freezer, though a decent capacity , is right at your chest level which, I guess, would be okay if one primarily used frozen food but not a lot of people only use only frozen food. Freezer does not freeze at a low enough temp to keep ice cream solid even at maximum setting.

The design is incredibly sleek and modern, and the recessed handles give it a clean, streamlined look that fits seamlessly into my space. What impressed me most is how much it holds, despite its compact footprint. The interior is surprisingly roomy and well-designed, with adjustable, spill proof glass shelves that make organization a super easy (even if your not the most organized). The transparent crisper drawers are a fantastic feature, letting me see my produce at a glance. Performance-wise, this refrigerator is a winner. One step up from a picnic cooler

This unit is incapable of functioning as both a refrigerator and freezer. It either freezes everything or does not freeze anything.The freezer door in particular is problematic in that it opens everytime one closes the refrigerator door. On multiple occasions that has resulted in losing the entire contents of the freezer because it went unnoticed till I returned days later. There seems to be no normal "latching" function like every other refrigerator door I have ever encountered. I would NOT recommend this model to anyone who needs to store perishables and frozen food in particular.

HEALTH HAZARD at recommended coldness settings!

Bought this unit, because Home Depot advertised in this product™€™s description as having TWO separate controls, One for freezer and One for refrigerator. This unit only has one control for both freezer and refrigerator, and it™€™s located in the refrigerator section. When set on the ™€œrecommended setting™€œ, freezer coldness is between 10° to 15° and not the 0° that it is supposed be at. When set at the ™€œrecommended setting™€œ, refrigerator is at 45°. This setting is a health hazard, being that FDA recommends 0° for freezer and 38° for a refrigerator. For extreme temperature, accuracy and assessment, I have four different thermometers monitoring temperatures within the unit, analog and digital thermometers. I would not recommend this refrigerator freezer, instead opt for a model that has separate controls for the freezer as well as the refrigerator. I™€™m very disappointed, as I always have looked to GE for superior product quality.

My landlords purchased new for my apartment in June of 2019, 2 years and 2 months later I had to defrost because the freezer stopped cooling. The fridge worked for 6 months more and again stopped cooling. I am sick of losing food, money and time on this $1000 faulty appliance. A small but sufficient refrigerator. It only uses around $35.00 worth of electricity a year, according to the paperwork, which is very efficient, to say the least. It keeps the temperature at 38 degrees which is good. It doesn't need to run that long either, it cools down fast. Let me please add, I became a genuine Christian around 2 years ago so let me say, Jesus died for us on the cross to pay for our sins.

A small but sufficient refrigerator. It only uses around $35.00 worth of electricity a year, according to the paperwork, which is very efficient, to say the least. It keeps the temperature at 38 degrees which is good. It doesn't need to run that long either, it cools down fast. Let me please add, I became a genuine Christian around 2 years ago so let me say, Jesus died for us on the cross to pay for our sins.

Freezer is not working properly.

This freezer is not working properly. Ice cream and bread remain soft after having refrigerator for less than a month. When I called the appliance store where I bought it, the customer service rep said it will take 4 weeks to get repairman. I spoke with store manager who said she would exchange the refrigerator for anew one. When the new one was delivered, the knob or roller to level the refrigerator was broken and delivery men could not fix it. I am still using the original refrigerator which has a freezer that doesn't freeze very well.
