Had nothing but trouble with this ice maker stopped working twice over the 3 month I had it. The second time if half filled the ice bin with water and froze solid.. I had to remove it to prevent damage to my freezer. When I called fridgidaire on two separate days. I spent hours being transfered from department to department and put on hold over and over again being told not the right department. I finally gave up. I hope this help other consumers not to waste their money on a poorly made product and a worse customer service.

Had to call repair man who doesn™™t sell Frigidaire and we will have to pay for his service. The average person depends on appliances working. We™™re not skilled in appliances so in order to get the piece of junk working, it will cost us money. Bogus! Will never buy another appliance from Lowe™™s and sure won™™t purchase a Frigidaire!!

Bought the ice maker in May when I purchased a new refrigerator. The ice maker was installed by the the technician where it was purchased. The ice maker seemed to work fine for a few months. It has now stopped working. Should have worked more than 7 months.

It was a little slow making ice out of the gate. That picked up fine but the issue is that there seems to be a little water getting into the tray and forming an iceberg in the back of the tray that needs to be removed every few days.What causes this?

I have had this ice maker for a week it is suppose to make around 2 lbs of ice in 24 hours and it doesn't. It barely makes enough to cover the bottom of the bin. When I called customer support I was. told it would make between 30 and 60 cubes in 24 hrs I don't count my ice cubes I just know I should be able to fill more than 2 or 3 glasses a day. It is extremely noisey. After talking to the lady at customer support I realized I would not get anyone to look at it. Customer support was less than helpful.

Purchased this refrigerator as an upgrade with our new home. The refrigerator has had issues since we moved in and we had the repairman out multiple times the first year. The icemaker slowly decreased the amount of ice it made until stopped completely. Very disappointing!!

I am now having to shop for a new refrigerator after miserably dealing with this thing for 5 to many years. I've had to "de-ice' the back wall of the refrigerator every 6 mos to keep the water lines thawed enough to make ice. It finally quit making ice. We just kept buying it and filling it for it to melt all over. Now it won't even agitate to dispense the ice WE have to add to it. Hated this thing since we bought it. Customer service and warranty were laughable. I realize all appliances we buy are junk these days but this one has been since day 1. Usually we get a few years out of China made crap. Good riddance.

I've had to have a repairman out here 3 times to fix this Piece of Junk, the last time he was out he said the filter was frozen. WHAT????There is no filter and if there were it wouldn't be in the freezer. It's been a week since he was here last and NOT ONE Ice Cube has come out of this Piece of Junk.

I bought this style just under 3 years ago and in this short time it is making a loud clicking sound, makes limited amounts of ice and I'm totally unhappy. Debating on spending more money or just getting ice trays or a countertop unit. The countertop units are less expensive and they make like 27lbs.
