I bought this in 2023, to go into a house being completed early 2024. I had to have it serviced in 2025 for not working, and now in 2026 it completely died. I spent a lot of money on this. I'm disappointed and angry that it was made so poorly and now Im out thousands of dollars.

My initial delivery of this model had a malfunctioning inside light. It was returned and a new one delivered.
The instructions for adding trim are less than ideal ™" what would it take to create a QR code linked to a video?
This model did not come with a metal tray to cover the rotating platform when you are using the conventional oven. Covering the rotator is mandatory when using the convection oven because large rectangular sheets cannot rotate within the oven cavity, and there™™s no way to turn the rotator off.

I wanted a double oven but decided since the children have grown and moved out, we would only need a double oven on ocassion when having holiday meals with family. This microwave also has an oven! It can be used to bake in also. Life changing. Absolutely love it. The button turn dial is helpful, although to simply cook say a muffin it takes several clicks. Would be a nice feature to just one click ie 15 sec

Have owned the unit for 1.5 years and microwave worked great, however just tried the convection oven for the first time over the holidays and it gave off a funny smell. Next time we used it, it just completely shutt off and now won't even turn on. Have scheduled a repair person to come out but out of warranty so will be paying out of pocket to fix. Disappointed and frustrated given the cost of the unit in the first place.

Excellent addition to the kitchen. The microwave function is superb. The interface to dial in the cook time is a bit cumbersome where a digital keypad would be more straightforward. That said, the system walks you through the steps. The autocook feature works very well. Just have to trust it! The oven is good size for microwave standards and we have baked in it, as well. Not yet used to convection oven cooking so we have a learning curve to get through. Would definitely buy again.

My new microwave / convection oven is a beautiful edition to our kitchen. Easy to use and a great upgrade to the much older GE microwave / convection oven that we previously owned.
The features are great, extremely quiet when running to the point other than it beeping when it™™s done cooking you don™™t know that it is in operation.
The copper ™Cafe™ nameplate gives it a touch of elegance.
Well worth the investment and upgrade!

I have had it a week. Microwaves well. Bakes small dishes that can rotate on the plate pretty well. Won™™t bake a 9x13 casserole dish because it is too big to rotate. The turntable CANNOT be disabled. My Black and Decker $100 counter top oven will bake a 9x13 with convection!! This is a way overpriced microwave. Hopefully I don™™t have the same mechanical issues others have had. I™™m sick to my stomach to have paid so much for something with such a serious flaw. Cafà boasts the size when the a good part of the width is unusable and you™™re limited by the depth. Cafà has gotten this question for over 4 years, said they are sending comment to their design team yet it™™s still the same. Find something else if you want to actually use the advertised width.

The controls for this microwave are the most confusing I have used. Just to cook a frozen meal for 3 minutes requires pushing 3 different buttons and turning a dial multiple times. I think the designers of this microwave never tried to use it. In addition, it is not wi-fi enabled, unlike the other 2 Cafe products I bought. A major disappointment!

Appearance is great, but the door is on the way when using the heat feature. Would need to be installed lower or below the counter to avoid burning my arms. Don™™t like the rotating plate when using the fast cook feature. Wish it would toast.

Much more versatile than our last microwave. The convection oven capability is unbelievable! Another great strength of this microwave/convection oven is the intuitive interface when determining how to cook, warmup, etc. My wife was dreading about having to learn how to use an appliance with all these capabilities, but she loves it!

Purchased the entire Cafe kitchen appliance set. They took owners manuals with them! Tried calling all 800 numbers for setting clocks etc...all numbers are not in service. Absolutely no help to be found for help!!

Pro-Works well. Sensors are accurate.
Cons- BEWARE Gauge height installation because if it's installed too high people with shorter stature would have trouble removing food because of the drop down door. Swing door is much better. I also inhibits back wall cleaning. Not too crazy about having to hit control button 3 times to activate cooking.

The controls seem archaic compared to the Cafe Wall oven it is intstalled above....they don't really match. The oven controls are much more modern than the microwave. I would not have ordered either if I had realized this at the time I ordered them.

Upgrade over our 20 year old GE model. Like the combo microwave and convection cook mode. Like the size. We use our full size convection oven less now, which is fine. Wish the clock was on all the time (it times out after a short interval). Some sort of power saving requirement, but hard to believe a digital clock uses much power compared to an electric oven.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my built in microwave/convection oven! It was definitely worth the splurge! I was excited to read about the features it had to offer when I was comparing different products, but I was not expecting all of the crazy things this oven does that wasn't talked about on the website. The website tells you that it bakes and roasts, fast cooks, warms and proofs, and microwaves. What it doesn't tell you is how specific it gets. It is amazing!! The microwave alone has options for beverages where you select a specific beverage (water, coffee, tea, cocoa, etc), then the size of the beverage in ounces and it determines the cook time needed. It also has a popcorn sensor, a MELT option, steam cooking, slow cooking, softening, defrosting, and reheating options. I am just beginning to play with my new toy (I have only had it for a week), but this is what I have done so far: I made cookies today and had to soften butter. The soften option allows you to choose from butter, cream, cheese, frosting, and ice cream. It worked perfectly. Normally, when I did it in a regular microwave, the butter would start to make a pool or puddle on the plate. I steam cooked broccoli. The steam cook option allowed me to select the vegetable I wanted, asked how many cups I was steaming, then cooked it to perfection! Even reheating leftovers is at a whole different level. The reheat option gives you options of beverage, casserole, chicken, pasta, pizza, plate of food, rice, soup, steak/chops, and vegetables. Then it asks for the quantity...1 cup, 2 cups, 4 cups? Did I mention how much I love this? This purchase has given me a third oven (I bought the range with the double oven) and an exceptional microwave. If you love to cook and or bake you need one of these!

I have had this for about 2 yrs now. This microwave works fine but the oven portion is severely under powered. We specifically purchased this as we though we could use as overflow cooking for holidays. Baking anything in this takes 4 times as long and there is not even heat distribution. even baking prefrozen hors d'oeuvres takes 3x as long as a conventional oven. a 220V version would be best for this but not offered.

10 months of use in new house and it stopped heating. And of course it™™s 1 month out of 12 month warranty according to invoice, but really only used 9-10 months of use since we actually moved in and began using. Definitely didn™™t expect this out of an almost $2k microwave.

During a rain storm we temporarily lost power to my home. The microwave was not on when the power was lost. However, when the power came back on, the usual touchscreen did not appear but was a white screen with the GE symbol. Nowhere on the screen that you touched could the screen be changed. I understand that this model is hard wired, so to shut it off and turn it back on can not be performed.

We have not been happy with this microwave almost since day 1. The door has been replaced twice due to condensation issues inbetween the glass and now the control panel has it has well. For the price point we expected much better than this. The fact that the door opens like an oven seems to be the issue as the steam has no where but 'up' to go and get inbetween the panes of glass on both the control panel and the door itself. Very disappointed - would not purchase again.

I have this above my matching wall oven. This is an amazing product. It has many features I have already used. I like the look of the pull down door. I™™m 5™™2™ and the door limits how far I can reach into it. If the install height were lower in my cabinets it would work better for me. Just something to consider if you™™re petite.

Heats quickly and evenly and accurate temperatures.Looks beautiful in the kitchen. Heats up the kitchen more than my old oven. I don't like that I have to use phone app to unlock additional features like the air fryer. My old wall oven could fit 3 racks. This barely fits two. I do like how the bottom rack pulls out very easily.

We hoped this appliance could serve as a microwave and our second oven. The appearance is great and the microwave is good but the convection oven functions poorly. It does not cook evenly and it takes twice as long for food to cook. Since the oven function is worthless it turns out to be a pretty and expensive microwave.
