We've only have had the oven a short time. One of our first uses was cooking beef stew in wine using Staub dutch Oven 26 . The dutch oven weighs 11 lbs by itself. The Cafe wall oven extension rack made adding ingredients during the cooking much easier. Like the wall paper and time display. Most of the time I have the time not displayed as time is displayed on the microwave above the wall oven.

Very nice oven. Installation was pretty easy. Preheat is a bit slow. Control display is pretty user friendly and control using SmartHQ app and Google is easy and convenient as well. Racks are a little stiff to move.

Product stopped working after 2 months

Oven stop working after 2 months of service. Touch screen went blank and would not power on. We have been waiting 2 weeks for parts and are now being told they are on back order. You would think a oven at this price range would last longer than 2 months. It was probably on used 10 times in the 2 months.

Broken after ONE power outage

I have the cafà oven and the we experienced a power outage. Upon turning the power back on the touch screen of this oven wouldn™€™t work again (it would illuminate but not no controls would appear again) even after a technician came to the house. The replacement control board is ™€œ$1800.™€ You™€™d think a smart appliance would be able to tolerate atleast one power outage but no. Will not buy again

Love the wall oven. Simple interface and fun to use. I was worried the screen interface and features would be like so many other appliances trying to over design. GE has kept up with the times and allows those who don't want to spend a lot of time learning new ways to cook with new wall ovens do just that. My only issue so far is with the lack of easy glide for the oven racks. It is much stiffer than I expected. I would recommend this wall oven to all of my friends and family.

I love my new wall oven! It is so much better than the old one. Preheating can be monitored on the panel or app, so I'm not wasting time during that period. The oven is quiet and works well for baking and proofing (I haven't tried other features... yet). I really like the top sliding rack, too, for moving big or heavy pans to the edge for removal. And it looks very nice in our wood cabinetry as well.

My daughter-in-law has oven envy after seeing my new oven. She loves its features. My main difficulty deals with the touch screen - my touch is not always recognized, ended up having to use a pen with a rubber tip. Wish it would allow you to see the password as you enter it. Between my difficulty with the touch and not seeing what I had typed, it took well over a half hour to finally get my password entered properly. Also some problems using the app.

Did a self install and followed the instructions which were almost accurate. Since it™€™s been a month, haven™€™t used all of the functions yet, so far so good. Wi-Fi connectivity is great function, although having difficulties with turning off the timer remotely ( maybe not available). Software could be more inclusive of other functions. I was also hoping for a soft close door which would™€™ve been great. Noise, light, and its look are acceptable.

The user interface has much built in so choices are very easy to make and get you up and using the oven quickly. The fact that oven temps are already established for common recipes is very nice! My one disappointment so far is in the timer feature - not the cook timer but the general timer. You can only set hours and minutes, not seconds; and, you cannot add time to a running timer. For an appliance of this cost is seems a little ridiculous not to put in seconds (what if you want to set a 90 second timer) or add time to a running timer. In the latter you have to cancel the timer and start over. This is particularly not useful if say you are baking cookies or pie and want to add a few minutes to the timer.

I replied, "We both love food, and we're foodies and love to cook. I've wanted an oven like this since we married over 40 years ago. We can do this, and we can do it now! Let's do it." Reluctantly she agreed. I've never looked back, and she has mastered this device faster than I did. The beautiful dishes we have created, made, modified, and spiced in this oven are too numerous to count. This oven does everything we wanted and things we didn't know we wanted. Zero regrets, and we have only just begun. We've been using this for almost a year. She thought self-cleaning meant "a mess I have to clean up, and then let it clean and clean it up after it cleans. Well, NO! That is not what she/we learned. It does what it says. And frankly, I love not just being ABLE to see through the glass into the oven, which is also well-lit. The window is huge for us. So, yes, when you dump a whole cheese au-gratin potato dish into the bottom of the oven... sure, there's cleaning. But I had to force her to let it cool first. She insisted that she had to risk high-temperature burns to get what she could, but I insisted and said I'd do it myself. I used a plastic spatula, and she tried to eat the cheese. After reminding her of California Prop 55. She left it alone. We got 99.2% of the mess with a plastic spatula. And the oven did the rest. Did I mention it also does everything we want in an oven? Even temperatures, accurate temperatures, convection, air fry, and there are a couple of things we've yet to use... We love this oven.

Beautiful and functional!

After being without a fully functioning oven for 3 months I am totally delighted with the GE Cafe. It's my first smart appliance so that's exciting. It is well constructed and solid. I love how strong the racks are. I look forward to cooking some amazing meals with my new oven.

Fast and Efficient

We migrated from a gas range and oven to electric cooktop and wall oven. The oven temperature is more even and accurate. We really use and enjoy the convection option.

It looks pretty nice and appears to be well made. However, this oven has very limited cooking modes. The timer settings are available only to some modes Only 5 or 6 Precision cooking modes Instructions are very poor and confusing- no suggested cooking times, temps, etc I had my previous oven for more then 20 years and it was far more advanced that the one that I just bought. So far I miss my old oven and feel that Cafe oven does not meet my expectations of being modern and versatile
