I bought this refrigerator less than a year ago and gave it a 5 star rating. I wanted to update my rating, but I was not able to edit my prior rating. After nearly of use, I still love it. It is my 3rd major appliance from Cafe (see other reviews) If I could, I would have given it a 4.5 start rating. It looks great and is easy to clean. It has ample room. It has enough light, but could have had an additional light on the top to supplement the back lighting (which I love) and the side lights. It works very well and precisely keeps the assigned temp.s. The shelving and drawers a very well designed and made of quality materials. I like the ice maker/water dispenser, but the ice maker could dispense ice more quickly and could have been designed to hold more ice. Still, it is good enough. Like the other Cafe major kitchen appliances I purchased, it has great quality, appearance and function similar to the other high-end manufacturers, but for thousands of Dollars less.

We've had the fridge for about 3 weeks now, and just absolutely love it. The outside appearance is smooth and always clean -- so much easier to clean than what we had before with exterior water & ice dispenser. Inside, there's tons of room, and it's really easy to see everything compared to our side-by-side that we had before. The cubbies on the doors hold a LOT of condiments, and two gallons of milk fit easily on the right door. Absolutely love the auto-refill pitcher, too. All in all, I'm surprised by how much I love this new fridge!

The minute I walked by this refrigerator and saw the platinum glass exterior. I fell in love. The fact that I could get a four-door with the freezer on the bottom with something I really wanted. I love the way the water fills the picture in the door continuously And I have connected my reverse osmosis water softener to it. Also, the only thing I don™™t like about it is that the ice tends to freeze and clumps and I have to constantly break it up otherwise it™™s perfect.

A Beautiful Fridge with a Leaky Auto Fill Pitcher

An absolute beautiful refrigerator! I love the platinum glass finish and the rose gold trim on the inside of the fridge. We have had it for 6 days. The problem that we have, along with other people that have done reviews on this fridge is the auto fill pitcher. The spigot failed by the 2nd day. It leaks water all over the fridge. I called GE, and they said that they will send me a new pitcher. We also noticed like other people, that the left door of the fridge does close very hard, so you have to be careful when shutting it. It seems like those are the two design flaws that GE should correct on an almost $5000 fridge. We did get ice on the first day, so that is a plus. We really like the right side chiller for our drinks. However, we don't think that the 37 degree temperature is keeping the drinks cold enough. But there is buttons to make the temperature warmer or cooler. Overall, you couldn't find a more gorgeous fridge, but we are disappointed with the two flaws that I mentioned.

I absolutely love this fridge and how big it is. I have plenty of room for everything and use the chiller side for all of my beverages. It frees up a lot of room inside the fridge. I™™ve only had this fridge for literally one day but the reason for the 4 stars and not the 5, is that the ice make is extremely slow!!! It™™s been over 24 hours since 1st plugged in and the bottom of the tray is barely covered. We are ice lovers and this is going to be a problem if it doesn™™t get better.

I love this Cafe four door model. Love the backlighting and the capacity of the refrigerator. The freezer is a pleasure to have everything organized in separate drawers, no bending over and digging! Good ice, always filled bin and a nice scoop. Plus, you have an option to make the right hand side of the freezer a chiller, additional refrigerator and/ or a freezer. Wine rack is nice, if you need it. I do wish that GE would make an optional drawer for the wine rack space, as I have separate wine refrigerator. Could better utilize the space. All in all, this is a great appliance.

LOVE our fridge! No annoying fingerprints on the SS-because the glass is super easy to keep clean! The water pitcher is HUGE in our home, as all of my children are big water drinkers! It refills in a flash! The only concern that we have is with the ice maker; I have to dig out and loosen the ice daily and dump it every 2-3 weeks, as tons of ice shavings accumulate regularly. Food on that left side of the freezer keeps getting freezer burn as well.

Auto-Fill Pitcher Fails, Exorbitant to Replace

Remember the old school dual-function appliances, where one function fails and then you have to limp along with what's left? GE has figured out how to take that old game to a whole other level. The auto-fill pitcher's spigot is cheaply made and fails, resulting in constant leaking. In our case, this failure conveniently occurred 1 week outside of the first year of ownership, and of course, GE was all too eager to deny any coverage or take responsibility. So instead, we have to purchase a new auto-fill pitcher for the insane price of $180, just to replace a pitcher that is similar to a Brita pitcher, and certainly will probably fail again. Without the pitcher, of course, the water dispenser is completely useless. So if you want to not only spend $4000+ on a refrigerator, but also be trapped into purchasing new $180 pitchers every year because GE won't stand behind their products, then boy do I have the refrigerator for you.

First 24 hours and here are the highlights thus far. Pros: Aesthetically, this is one of the nicest I™™ve seen. Glass doors are virtually fingerprint free, ample room for a family of four. Super-quiet and well-thought out drawers/shelves. Pitcher is an excellent idea, could be larger but not really an issue. Cons: Only about 8 ice cubes after 24 hours, hoping this improves. Left door closes HARD when pitcher is full, will take some getting used to. Packaging tape stuck in some of the creases of the door, have to figure out a way to remove without scratching the glass. Overall, the cons are minimal so long as we get some ice soon!

We ordered this fridge as a gift to ourselves for Christmas, along with other appliances. It™™s beautiful, seems like a perfect place to store and organize groceries for our little family. But there is one flaw that ruined it for us and made half of the freezer unusable. If your fridge is by a wall, your freezer drawers will not open. We are now fridgeless and freezerless during Christmas hoping we can exchange it.

Just started using this ref. and it is very quiet, plenty of room, with nice features. Like the convertible zone and the interior lighting. Only downside is that the unit doesn™™t show its current temperature. Looked online at the instructions and doesn™™t tell you how to look at current temperature. So when I first turned on it showed 37 degrees and not the current temperature. I know it has an alarm but it should still show current temp.

Beautiful refrigerator. The quad that can be changed to freezer or frig. Is a neat feature. Only complaint would be the refillable water pitcher. If door slams to hard it nudges it out of alignment just enough to keep from filling.

Love the look and function of the four door fridge and freezer. The biggest surprise is the entire back wall of the fridge being lit. I can now see everything in the fridge. No more losing stuff in the back. The freezer makes tons of ice and the water pitcher in the door is extremely practical.

This is a beautiful refrigerator and I absolutely love it, EXCEPT that I can't get the water pitcher to fill. It took over 24 hours for us to get ice, but they did warn us. The first ice was a scary gray color. There are ice crystals all over everything in the freezer. I have tried to get a hold of someone to troubleshoot, but nope no real people are available. AI didn't help. I have had to make an service appointment and it will take weeks for them to come out. Seriously, this fridge/freezer that cost almost $5K, you would think they could help you. You would think they would help you. The fridge has a lovely backlight but overall, the fridge is quite dark. We are still moving our stuff into it. We've had it two days so I will update if we get any help, or if the Pitcher fills up. I was so excited about not having water on the front. I guess that was a mistake.

The Fridge itself is great. Door leveling issues

From the first day in December 2022, there was an issue trying to level the upper right door, which was noticeably higher. Trying to turn the wheel didn't work. GE support sent someone out (25 year vet) who also could not get it to move. He was able to adjust the left door a bit, which helped. However, both are now slightly off. Not sure what causes this. But it would otherwise be a great fridge with plenty of storage (non-counter depth version) and options.

There is so much space in this fridge. The door shelves are very deep and hold more than an average for shelf. My favorite feature is the flexible quadrant that can be freezer, refrigerator or chiller. We have a separate stand up freezer so having another section that we can dedicate to refrigerator is an amazing benefit!

It is a beautiful refrigerator inside and out, it just doesn't feel like it has as much room as my 27cu. ft Whirlpool had. I am not sure if it is the use of shelf space or what, but I feel like if it did not have the refrigerator at the bottom that it would definitely be too small.

What I like: 1. High quality of the product. 2. Minimalistic design and almost nothing that seems to get broken with time. 3.Cleaning the glass doors is super easy. 4. The best feature is the autofill the water jug in the refrigerator. 5. Almost no sound during operation. What could be improved: 1. ice tray once full will spill ice into the next lower drawer in the freezer. 2. The drawers in the third and fourth quadrant are not easy to open with the doors. Often I™™ll have to open the doors well ajar before you can pull out the drawers.

Unlike many other reviewers I actually paid for this refrigerator and it is worth every dollar. Not only is it stunningly beautiful, it makes it so easy to completely organize all of your food within it- especially the freezer. I had a similarly styled four door convertible refrigerator previously which was larger than this one (31 cubic feet) and I was concerned about the smaller size and let me tell you this one completely blows away both in looks and storage- I don't know how they did it but it holds more stuff! Highly recommend!

We have only had it a month but so far we love everything about this refrigerator! The ice maker isn't the fastest, but the ice storage capacity is so large that once it finally filled up, we have not run out of ice at all, and our household uses a lot of ice! The auto refill feature on the water pitcher is fantastic, and I love that I can pull the pitcher out to fill the coffee maker, dog's water dish or just to set out for guests to fill their own water glasses. I had no idea how much I would like the tilt-out bins on the freezer door! They are perfect for boxes of things my kids get into frequently like hot pockets and breakfast sandwiches. I can open one end of the box and put it in the tilt out bin, and then they just grab one and the box doesn't get mangled.

I've always had an affinity for nice gadgets, electronics, appliances, vehicles... Big, shiny, lots of "bells and whistles" - luxury. This refrigerator checks all of the boxes. Roomy but sleek, and makes use of every square inch of space; water with removable glass pitcher and large ice dispenser hidden neatly inside; multiple temperature zones so foods will stay fresher longer; drawers and shelves for anything and everything; illuminated all throughout so there's no nook or cranny for things to hide. GE thought of it all. We have enjoyed sipping perfectly-chilled glasses of wine from the temperature controlled section we designated. What a time to be alive!

The refrigerator is very nice, we really like the freezer setup (Drawers) instead of the bottomless pit type freezers with one big drawer with an internal plastic drawer on top. The only concern is the refrigerator temperature isn™™t going down too 34° which is where we like it. It seems to Hover around 39° to 40°. Used a HVAC and a digital thermometer, both are or around the same.

I love love this product so much and so glad I have a chance to try it out. This refrigerator looks really fancy with rose-gold touch design alongside with glass material. A lot of space for storing products, it also has dairy containers. My favorite part is the wine rack!! The size is just prefect, it fits right in the space I had. The refrigerator is high-tech but easy to use and well versatility. It also can produce water and ice. Water pitchers that comes with it is autofill. I love the ice compartment which can store a lot of ice (I think >10+ lbs). The bottom fridge can change from chiller to freezer or the warmer which is awesome! The performance of this is well over expectations. The cleaning part is so easy to wipe down. I only need some wet towel and can easy clean it with. The refrigerator comes with one-year warranty as well, so I™™m pretty sure that they™™re pretty durable. Overall, this is the awesome product and I highly recommend it to anyone.

We have had the refrigerator for less than a full month, so I have no comments on reliability of the product. However, from a features list perspective and unboxing experience, this refrigerator is fairly awesome. The glass panels on the front of the refrigerator I am not very thrilled about ™" fingerprints and handprints show up easily ™" but the saving grace it is extremely easy to clean. Still, I would have preferred the underlying gray aluminum material not be covered by the glass. That material is exposed on the side of the doors, and hides fingerprints very well. The sides of the unit are a really dark grey, nearly black, textured metal. I was slightly disappointed that color on the sides did not match the light gray color of the doors/front. The interior lighting in the top/refrigeration compartment provides plenty of light to see all items, even if your shelves are crammed full of food. Every storage bin on the doors fits at least a gallon sized container. The shelves are adjustable, making it easy to (re)organize the layout. The flexibility on temperatures in the third compartment is nice, particularly if you do not require a lot of frozen goods space. We find the dedicated freezer compartment is a little small for our needs, so we use the third compartment as a freezer. The ICE! We love the large 10+ lbs drawer of ice! Now we don™™t run out of ice when we have company over for dinner or events. Overall this is the nicest refrigerator we have owned. We look forward to many years of service.

The large storage in the doors makes access to the shelves really nice. The drawers in the lower sections make it easy to keep things organized. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the ice maker, while big, is a little slow to produce ice.

Fridge is great but keep in mind you will not have ice for approx 48 hours after install. Only ongoing issue is auto refill of water splashes a considerable amount outside of the pitcher causing daily cleanup.
